This policy explains how Cleanera LLC (“Cleanera,” “we” or “us”) handles personal information collected through thecleanera.com and when you contact us by text, phone or email. We’re a small local business, and we keep this simple: we collect what we need to quote and provide cleaning services, and we don’t sell your information.
Information we collect
- Quote requests. When you use our quote form, we collect what you enter: your name, phone number, email address (optional), the area you’re in, the type and frequency of cleaning, the size of your home or space, how you’d like to be contacted, and any notes you add.
- Messages. If you text, call or email us, we receive your phone number or email address and whatever you choose to send, including photos of your space.
- Service details. If you become a client, we keep what we need to clean your home or business: your address, access instructions such as a door code or key arrangement, your cleaning preferences, and payment records.
- Technical data. Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically processes basic technical information — such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit — to deliver the site and keep it secure.
How we use it
- To respond to your request and prepare a quote.
- To schedule, provide and follow up on cleaning services, including our satisfaction guarantee.
- To contact you by text, phone or email about your quote or service.
- To keep business, tax and payment records.
- To keep the website working and secure, and to understand how visitors find and use it.
Access to your home
Keys, lockbox codes, door codes and alarm codes are used only to provide your service and are shared only with the team members cleaning your home. When service ends, we return keys and delete access codes.
How we share information
We don’t sell or rent your personal information. We share it only:
- with service providers that help us run the business and process information on our behalf — such as our website host (Cloudflare), our form service (Web3Forms, which delivers quote requests to our email) and our email provider (Google);
- with payment services you choose to use, such as Venmo or your bank;
- when required by law, or to protect the rights and safety of our clients, our team or our business.
Cookies, analytics and advertising
The fonts on this site load from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google’s servers, which receive your IP address.
We may use analytics and advertising tools, such as Google Analytics, Google Ads and Meta (Facebook and Instagram), to understand how visitors find and use the site and to measure whether our ads work. These tools may use cookies or similar technologies and collect information about your device and your visit. When you send a quote request, we may share a hashed (scrambled) version of your email address or phone number with these platforms so they can tell us whether an ad led to the request.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and manage ad preferences in your Google and Meta accounts.
How long we keep it
We keep quote requests and messages as long as we need them to respond and follow up. We keep client records while you’re a client and afterward as long as required for tax and business purposes.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your information, including limiting who on our team can see it. No method of sending or storing information is completely secure, so we can’t guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
You can ask us what personal information we have about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or ask us to stop contacting you. Email felicia@thecleanera.com or text (512) 806-9715. We may need to keep some records where the law requires it.
Children
Our website and services are meant for adults. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we’ll post the new version on this page and update the date at the top.
